Indivior

Helping Indivior communicate its endeavours in health through branding and UX design.

Indivior, a pharmaceutical company specializing in addiction treatment, needed to redefine their digital presence to better communicate their vision and mission to a wider audience. Their challenge was twofold: reintroducing their brand to new investors after securing additional funding while also connecting with patients, healthcare professionals, and stakeholders in a more meaningful way.

Unlike typical corporate redesigns, this project required a deep storytelling approach, capturing real patient experiences through authentic, documentary-style photography and video. The goal was to create a visually engaging, emotionally resonant website that positioned Indivior as a trusted leader in addiction treatment while maintaining clarity for investors and healthcare professionals.

My apporach to this large task

To ensure the website effectively communicated Indivior’s renewed purpose, we ran workshops with the client, myself, and a strategic planner. These sessions focused on brand strengths and weaknesses, defining brand essence, and conducting website-building sprints to map out content needs and audience priorities. The outcome was a clear, structured plan for the site’s visual identity, content strategy, and user experience. A major insight from these workshops was that Indivior lacked a cohesive brand identity that reflected its mission.

To address this, I developed a new brand direction from scratch, including brand identity, visual storytelling, and creative concept development. The next step was to create an imagery direction that captured the real impact of Indivior’s work.

This involved:

- Curating mood boards and presenting creative directions to the client.

- Finding the right photographers and guiding them on capturing authentic, emotional moments.

- Art directing photography sessions across London, using actors to recreate realistic moments of rehabilitation and support.

What I did

Once the branding and imagery were defined, I led the website design, focusing on clarity, accessibility, and engagement. The site needed to be fully responsive, catering to investors, healthcare professionals, and patients, ensuring that each audience could quickly find relevant information without confusion. The design incorporated hero banner images and video clips to introduce new sections, reinforcing Indivior’s commitment to patient recovery and well-being.

  • Developed the brand identity and creative direction for Indivior’s digital transformation.
  • Led imagery direction and art direction, working with photographers to capture authentic patient stories.
  • Designed the UX/UI to ensure a seamless, engaging user experience across all devices.
  • Worked closely with a strategist to structure the site for multiple audiences, balancing investor insights with patient-centric storytelling.
  • Ensured the website was fully responsive, making it accessible and impactful across different platforms.
  • The Result

The redesigned website successfully repositioned Indivior as an empathetic, patient-first company, balancing corporate clarity for investors with emotional storytelling for patients and healthcare professionals. The combination of immersive visuals, documentary-style photography, and clear UX/UI design resulted in a highly engaging platform that resonated with all stakeholders. This project was a true end-to-end transformation, where I played a key role in building the brand from the ground up, shaping everything from the creative vision to the execution of the website. The client was extremely satisfied with the outcome, and the new digital presence strengthened Indivior’s positioning in the industry as both an innovator in addiction treatment and a trusted partner for patients and investors alike.
