The Mission

Tata Play, India’s leading content distributor, needed a custom-built advertising dashboard to support their growing ad business. The goal was to create a seamless and efficient platform that multiple user types, from internal teams to external agencies, could use to schedule, manage, and analyse video and static ad campaigns.

The system had to be functional, flexible, and easy to use, while translating a deeply technical brief into something human-centred and intuitive. I was brought in with a Jr designer to help turn the complex requirements into a clean and usable experience.

What I Focused On

Information Architecture & Structure
Planned and structured the dashboard’s hierarchy to prioritise essential data and reduce friction in campaign workflows. The system needed to support both internal and external users with different permissions and goals.

UX Flows & Prototypes
Designed user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes to visualise the product and gather stakeholder feedback early. Focused heavily on campaign setup, scheduling, performance insights, and asset management.

UI Design & Visual Clarity
Applied Tata Play’s branding and expanded it into a scalable UI system. Prioritised data clarity, usability, and responsive layouts to ensure it worked across all user roles.

The Result

Delivered a fully designed and dev-ready advertising dashboard tailored to Tata Play’s business needs. The platform streamlined ad campaign management, reduced operational friction, and gave teams and partners the tools they needed to create, launch and track campaigns efficiently — all within one central hub.
